Results: Fell short in all double ups

What worked:
Justin Thomas: Even at the highest salary on the board it made sense to go with Justin Thomas in cash games as both our stat model and course history pointed in his direction. He didn’t disappoint, shooting better than 70 in all four rounds on his way to a top 5 finish.

Limiting dollars in play: One of the most important ways to ensure profitability in DFS over the long haul is disciplined bankroll management. On weeks that feature a weak limited field with no cut we scale back to around 25% of what we have in play on stronger, full field events with a cut. In PGA DFS we gain most of our edge from being able to do a better job than the rest of the field of predicting which golfers will make the cut so it makes sense to reduce our playing volume in weeks without a cut.

What didn’t work:
We strive for perfection and always like to look back on some of the predictions that didn’t materialize:

Kiradech Aphibarnrat: Overall this was a solid lineup that fell two birdies short in cashing in double ups. Our favorite Barnrat was the one player that fell short of expectations and let us down with a round of +1 on Sunday while the rest of the field was shooting scores in the -3 to -7 range.
