Results: Won in all double ups, lost triple ups
What worked:
Anders Albertson: Anders has been a consistent cutmaker so far during the fall season and has profiled well in strokes-gained approach, a stat we weighted heavily this week. Draftkings did not price him up in this weak field event and rostering Anders while much of our competition went in other directions in the low $7k range allowed us to stay ahead of the pack enough to win all our double ups leading to a profitable week.
What didn’t work:
We strive for perfection and always like to look back on some of the predictions that didn’t materialize:
CT Pan: CT Pan checked all the boxes here for us but got off to a bad start on Thursday and just couldn’t put any momentum together to recover, at high ownership in cash his negative impact on our lineups was limited.
Sam Ryder: We were going back and forth between Ryder and Kirk for this roster spot and ultimately went with stats over course history. Although Kirk did make the cut and Ryder missed, a 46th place finish by Kirk and high ownership on Ryder was not enough to prevent us from finishing in the money on a week with a lot of carnage in terms of cuts missed by highly owned players.
