What worked:
Robert Foster – The Lions pass defense has been one of the worst in the league. With their most competent player, Darius Slay, expected to shadow Zay Jones we expected Robert Foster to be the primary beneficiary of Josh Allen’s downfield targets. At only $4,300 it would only take a couple large chunk players for Foster to hit value. Foster rewarded us with a line of 4 catches for 108 yards and a TD.

Jaylen Samuels – With James Conner out Jaylen Samuels had another week to enter into the Le’veon Bell role, at $5200 his prices was again way too cheap for this guaranteed usage with a high floor in the highest total game on the slate. Samuels finished the day with 172 all purpose yards that were good for 22.2 DK points.

What didn’t work:

Even on winning weeks, we strive for perfection and always like to look back on some of the predictions that didn’t materialize:

Eric Ebron – Ebron was a strong play as the Colts have been extremely pass heavy with most of Andrew Luck’s targets focusing in on Ebron and Hilton. Similar to last week vs. the Texans, this game was expected to see the Colts quickly turning to the air as the Cowboys have been one of the better run defenses this year. However, the Colts took an early lead and beat Dallas at their own ball control game, leaning heavily on Marlon Mack with Andrew Luck only throwing for 192 yards. Ebron only saw 3 targets the entire game including a pass he dropped, leaving him with a poor line of 1 catch for 8 yards.
