Week 2 – Thursday Night Football

Bengals vs. Ravens

For single game Showdown slates on DraftKings it makes sense target GPPs over cash games and as always, its best to be responsible and only use a small portion of your bankroll on these nights. Here are our thoughts on the game.

Locks: (Play on all rosters)

Joe Mixon – He looked great last week and dominated touches out of the backfield. The Ravens Defense is one of the top units in the league, however for a game that will likely to be played at slow pace, betting on a usage monster is a great way to start your roster. (Strongly consider for Capitan position)

Joe Flacco – Continued his strong show of form from the preseason against the Bills. If the Ravens continue to spread the ball around, rostering Joe Flacco provides exposure to all the Ravens pass catchers. (Strongly consider for Capitan position)

Roster Roundouts: (Consider at least one for most of your rosters)

Nick Boyle – The Bengals defense weak spot is the short middle of the field, exploit this by using Nick Boyle, the Ravens TE who received over 50% of snaps at the position for his team last week. Additionally, at only $2,200 on DraftKings, his value will help you roster both of our locks above along with another top tier player such as Alex Collins or AJ Green

Willie Snead – As mentioned above, the Bengals defense weak spot is the short middle of the field, Snead operates out of the slot for the Ravens and makes a great addition to your Joe Flacco stack
